Afterschool Centre for Career Development is pleased to announce its partnership with Enough is Enough Nigeria (EIE Nigeria) for the launch of its flagship radio programme #OfficeOfTheCitizen show in Calabar,Nigeria.
Billed to provide a platform for Citizens to discuss topical issues including State and national budgets, Security, Electricity, Environmental sustainability as well as access to clean water in Nigeria.The show will also cover other thematic areas such as Career and Skills Development, taxation, access to funding with a view to promoting accountability and getting good services from government and privately owned agencies.
Unlike other call-in programs, the distinguishing factor of the ‘Office of the Citizen’ radio show would be its singular objective of educating listeners and helping callers solve problems related to the focus areas. Callers will be allowed to vent, but ultimately, the focus will be on how to help them turn their anger/frustrations into action and results.
Scheduled to hold every Thursday from 8.00am to 9.00am on HITFM Calabar – 95.9FM,the show will also be live tweeted using the hashtag #OfficeOfTheCitizen. Listeners are at liberty to call the show to ask questions, seek clarifications and contribute suggestions to the topics discussed on the programmes.
